CPK stands for the first initial of our children. It was born on September 25, 2016. The idea was born much longer than we realized. Five years prior, my sister and I both started a journey of change. Lifestyle change. Among the changes of eating habits, we quickly realized what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it.

We began turning over our commercial products actually researching the lengthy ingredients just to find out nearly all of them are linked to and exacerbate many disorders. From soaps, shampoos, lotions, body butters, lip products, to deodorants, facial mask, tooth paste, the very products we have come to trust, we use on ourselves, our children, are becoming the very products that are slowly making us sicker.

Skin (the largest organ on our bodies) absorbs just like our intestines. If you swallow poison, your intestines will deliver it to your blood stream, into other organs. You'd become sick. Same goes for the skin. Think in terms when some women use Progesterone cream to stabilize a pregnancy. The Progesterone cream is applied to the skin and absorbs straight into the blood stream, carried into the cells. Commercial brands chemicals work just the same.

Over time, your body builds up toxins. The symptoms displayed come in many forms such as allergies, eczema, asthma, hormone imbalances, intestinal issues, feeling tired and lethargic, menstrual issues, depression...the list goes on.

CPK prides itself in using natural ingredients. Coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, rice bran oil, shea butter, mango butters can all be consumed and are healthy for you.
We aren't claiming our products are miracles, but they are healthier alternatives that won't make you sick. That's all we strive for. Health.

Hello. My name is Genesia and I am co-CEO of CPKSheaEssentials. I am a mother of two and owner of a Labradoodle (Captain) who inspired our dog soap line Captain’s Choice.
I started researching healthier bath products alternatives for myself and my children a few years ago. The results made me passionate about creating products to share with you.
My sister and I decided to join forces to create CPK Shea Essentials. We passionately stand behind our motto of healthier products for a healthier you and we truly believe that what you put on your skin is just as important as what you put in your body.
We are constantly pushing ourselves to expand our line of paraben free, sulfate free, and preservative free products. We have healthy skin loving options for women, men, children, and dogs.

I am the owner of CPK Shea Essentials. I'm 42 years young, happily married 16 years with a amazing 16 year old daughter. I have struggled over the years with weight gain, allergies, endometriosis and down right feeling tired on a daily basis.
Changing my life style has been one of the most difficult, rewarding, thrilling adventures I've ever undertaken.
Over time, my family has jumped on board the lifestyle journey with me. In the last 9 years, my plague of allergies is gone, I lost 35 pounds and the pain from my endometriosis went from a 10 to a 1.
It's truly remarkable how far research and dedication can get you.
